I'm a 31 year old female. I am married to a man and have children with him but recently realized I am gay.I'm scared. Where do I go from here?

I would suggest being honest with your husband, be caring and assure him that this has nothing to do with him. Let him know that you you did and do love him, but hiding who you are is killing you. Be prepared for anger and hurt. This is a tough situation, but you need to be true to yourself. Wishing you strength and resolve!

I am dealing with the same thing, I didn't tell my husband yet, but I think he will be happy in one sense....that he was not the only reason our marriage of over 22 years is not working. I now know I am the biggest part in our failing marriage. I'm sure our husbands will not be happy with the news, but are you willing to live a lie of who you are? and for how long? I wish you all the best.
